Okay, so a little over a year ago, I went on a spree and drew a bunch of kissing from reference (you can view it here). I was looking at it today, and got the urge again, so I tagged twitter to send me some reference photos.

And lo, the second Cuddlepalooza was born!

Overall, I’m less satisfied with the sketches, but it was still a fun exercise. And it occupied me for the last four hours, between drawing them, scanning them, and coloring them. Wee!

ETA: While you chew on this for a while, I’m going to go recolor the other ones. I GOT A HANKERIN FOR COLOR THEORY, OKAY.

ETA 2: THERE, better colors! I am more satisfied with the sketches and the colors now. I totally spent all day working on this instead of Sunday’s page. c_c I will remedy this after dinner!

So, I had this page a few brush-strokes away from being done this morning, before we had to jet out the door for errands. UNFORTUNATELY, the save didn’t “take” and my computer restarted on me when I got home. (Dern Windows Updates!) So I scrambled to get it done. I don’t think the quality suffered too much though.

Poor Kennedy. So restless.

So this is what I did today:

I drew in those books who ordered that tier; I put together all the orders, and got everything prepped for shipping tomorrow. You guys should get your orders soon! Thank you for your patience!

But, since I did that all day, I didn’t really do a sketch for today, and the rest of the evening is going to be spent working on Sunday’s page. Sorry, guys! If you guys are interested in watching a livestream of it, let me know! I might be able to organize something. It’d be visual-only, no audio, since I’ll be hanging out with friends while I work, but you can watch a page getting put together, and watch me flail around as I try to cement color theory.

Or maybe just watch me ink, since that may be as far as I get today. Who knows?

Anyway, I’ll put up another post if I decide to do a livestream! *poof*

So it occurs to me suddenly that things I say on twitter are not necessarily broadcast to all you fine folks. I made the executive decision today to put aside the last two sketch comics in favor of working on a buffer! I believe this is a better use of my time at the moment. I’m hoping to really ramp it up here. Got 1.5 pages done already! Zoom!
